1. Take apart a solar-powered garden light ($3 at Home Depot)
2. Hot glue the solar panel/battery to the lid of a jar ($5 at Michael’s)
3. Use a glass frosting spray ($5 at Home Depot) to coat the outside.
4. Put in a window to charge/enjoy your night light.

My wood palette dining table is finally coming together. Derek came over last night to help me assemble what has been a four-week project (that really should have taken a night or two). Although I did all the power sanding and drilling, I have to credit Derek for being an excellent project and equipment manager. I still have a couple more things to do before it’s done but I think it’s coming together quite nicely.

Ridiculously cute finished product, it was really easy and only took about 15 min, and that was after a bottle of Kung Fu Girl.
